They suggest that your freebie not be an ebook or report. Instead, they suggest a blueprint, resource or small set of digital tools that the average visitor might find useful. People want something useful and short.

People want instructions, how to and so on. The best example I have seen for something like this was a Youtube video on how to build a picnic table. The instructions were very good.

At the end, he asked people to swap their email address for a simple, 1 page PDF list of materials they would need to bring to the lumber yard to build their own picnic table. The idea worked great.

People want something simple like a plan, a blueprint or a simple list. This is what Leadpages teaches you how to do.

And now, for the real magic. Instead of a little plain, boring opt-in form like the one above, a company  named LeadPages introduced a whole new ball game. If you visited a winter vacation website, would you be more tempted to fill in a plain little form like the one above or the Leadpages example below?

Uh-huh, I thought so. Remember that all these squeeze pages open in a full screen representation like this.

The next example was created by someone who has a website dealing with comic books. Beautiful, isn't it?

This one is my personal favorite and gives me a great CTR. Give it a moment to load the video. You can change the video to anything you like. Imagine a gardening site with flowers waving in the wind, an aircraft site with airplanes floating above the clouds or ... well.. you get the idea.

Most people are not aware of the 7 visitor phenomenon that Google found and it kills their dream of independence and freedom. They work and work to build a great site, they get traffic and little money comes in because they are not aware of and dealing with that 7 visit phenomenon.

The secret to ranking highly with the best online businesses is to go one step further. Niche websites tend to use long-tailed keywords to approach more exact subjects. For example, in the pet category, you might want to build a dog site which is still a huge category by itself.

A niche website might make its information revolve around a certain type of dog like small dogs which is a lot better, but it is still a huge subject. A better way to go would be to dig further and specialize. Chihuahua dogs would be a better, more exact subject for a site.

Have you noticed yet that the options are getting smaller and smaller as we drill down into the subject and the keywords are getting longer?

An even better subject would be found by drilling further. Doing a bit of keyword research, I found that there is almost 7000 searches a month on Google for the term "long hair Chihuahua" without the quotes and about 3000 searches a month for the term "long haired Chihuahua" without the quotes.

As you keep scanning this article, you are beginning to see that sometimes even a simple change of 2 letters can make a great difference for the best online businesses, aren't you?

The key to success for the best online businesses is traffic. Competition is so keen for the larger terms like "dog" that you have to rank highly for your smaller sub niche.

Can you see where a term like "long hair Chihuahua" would have a better chance than a more general one?

Using your niche website builder software as effectively as you can, you will have a good chance at a good rating with this term.

If you drilled even deeper to a point where your site keyword would be something like "long hair Chihuahua winter clothes", you could build a highly successful micro niche website on that subject.

There is very little demand for that term so you would go to number 1 at the search engines almost right away. There is no money to be made at these tiny traffic sites, but you can quickly create sub pages on your site revolving around Chihuahua health, long haired Chihuahua training and so on. Before long, you would have one of the best online businesses in this category.
