I am frequently asked, "Are Private Label Rights the money-making magic wand people say they are?"
To anyone outside of the world of Internet marketing, the very idea of these products seems a little crazy. Amazingly, however silly it might sound, many people are making money from PLR articles, ebooks and software every single day. The results can be the ticket to making your internet dreams come true.
Simply put, one person writes an ebook, a bunch of articles or a software program and then sells all rights of ownership to anyone who will pay for it. Usually for a very small fee. This seems kind of weird and just another scam so if you haven't benefited from these products yet, it is not your fault! Before I go any further...
.... I have some bad news for you :-( Google does a lot of research and they have found that the average visitor to a website will return to it on average 7 times before buying anything even if your product or solution to their problem suits their needs exactly and your price is excellent.
Keep this information in mind no matter what kind of online business you eventually get into.
People just don't trust, but don't be afraid...
The good news is that there is an easy solution: email marketing. Visitors to sites are encouraged to leave their email addresses so they could be sent free stuff. The central idea here is that they are giving the website owner permission to visit them through their inbox! Done properly, this builds incredible trust very quickly.
This is a great way to get around the awful 7 visit barrier mentioned above.
Most websites have opt-in forms to get people to leave their email address in exchange for a freebie of some sort like a free ebook, report or video. Forms like this one are in common use. They worked for a while, but people quickly got tired of free reports, ebooks and so on.
The minute they see these little boxes, they scramble for the back button. A company named Leadpages changed the whole process.
They suggest that your freebie not be an ebook or report. Instead, they suggest a blueprint, resource or small set of digital tools that the average visitor might find useful. People want something useful and short.
People want instructions, how to and so on. The best example I have seen for something like this was a Youtube video on how to build a picnic table. The instructions were very good.
At the end, he asked people to swap their email address for a simple, 1 page PDF list of materials they would need to bring to the lumber yard to build their own picnic table. The idea worked great.
People want something simple like a plan, a blueprint or a simple list. This is what Leadpages teaches you how to do.
And now, for the real magic. Instead of a little plain, boring opt-in form like the one above, a company named LeadPages introduced a whole new ball game. If you visited a winter vacation website, would you be more tempted to fill in a plain little form like the one above or the Leadpages example below?
Uh-huh, I thought so. Remember that all these squeeze pages open in a full screen representation like this.
The next example was created by someone who has a website dealing with comic books. Beautiful, isn't it?
The one below is one of their top performers that gets a really good click through rate.
Anything can be changed with a couple of mouse clicks. Background images, styles of boxes, which information is asked for and so on.
This one is my personal favorite and gives me a great CTR. Give it a moment to load the video. You can change the video to anything you like. Imagine a gardening site with flowers waving in the wind, an aircraft site with airplanes floating above the clouds or ... well.. you get the idea.
Most people are not aware of the 7 visitor phenomenon that Google found and it kills their dream of independence and freedom. They work and work to build a great site, they get traffic and little money comes in because they are not aware of and dealing with that 7 visit phenomenon.
Opt-ins are a brilliant and fun way to build trust and Leadpages offer the best in cutting edge squeeze page technology for about a dollar a day.
By the way, would you like to see more of what Leadpages can do to help you achieve your dreams like they did for me? The best way for me was to sign up for one of their 2 free weekly live webinars. You can reserve your spot here.
NOTE: What I liked the most is that you don't have to be one of their customers to gain immense benefit from what they teach.
Why would someone write an ebook and then sell all rights to it to someone else? If the logic behind this eludes you and if you get the feeling that there has to be a "catch", I understand and you are not alone.
The answer lies in the huge
number of people who understand the potential value of private label rights and are ready and
willing to pay for such material. If all this leaves you confused and wary, relax, take that deep breath and savor the moment. We will learn about how all this fits together and take aim at those fears and wariness of yours and boil all this down to a simple process that will make sense.
For sellers, if you can write a short ebook of 20,000 words, or a pack of ten 500-word articles and sell it to 150 different people for $10 each you will have made a tidy $1500. And still retain the right to sell it to 150 more if you can find them.
For buyers, private label can really be like magic: someone else does all the hard work in writing and then, for a tiny outlay, you can buy the rights to do almost anything you want with the private label rights product.
I can't overestimate the importance of the information below regarding the size of the market that is open to us FREE!
6 billion people!!
That’s how many people carry cell phones around the world, according to the U.N. That’s roughly 86% of the world population. Only about 75% of these same people have toilets! WHAT A MARKET!! People with laptops and PC's are fewer, but still represent an incredible market that is free to anyone who wants to get on board the River of Gold, the World Wide Web.
Amazingly, even with these incredible numbers, many marketers and business owners still ignore the phenomenal opportunity this presents to build an online business in almost ANY niche! If you are looking to make money for yourself, the internet is by far the safest and easiest way for you to do so. You can build from home, risk free and in your spare time. How sweet is that?
With private label ebooks, articles and software you are generally sold the rights to treat the materials as if you had created them yourself. You can use them exactly as they are, edit them, rewrite them, change the title or name, claim authorship for yourself, create new products by combining several at a time - if you can think of a use, the chances are that you can do it.
The people creating the private label rights (PLR) products can sell them over and over again if this is what they prefer to do. Those that buy these products don't have to create content for their web sites or blogs. Most internet people are loathe to write content. PLR is a great answer.
The "catch", if you will, is that you should go through the PLR material, add some here and delete some there to give your page your own individual slant.
The only things you generally can't do involve posting private label rights articles to article directories (because the article directories don't like it) or resell the materials with the same private label rights. You normally have resell rights, but not private label resell rights.
But all sources are different and some have fewer rules than others.
Private label rights materials are fantastic for online marketers because they give a quick and easy answer to the age old problem of finding new content for their websites and blogs. Content is the lifeblood of the Internet: your site visitors always want to see new things and the search engines positively reward you for having new content.
Private label rights makes it very cheap and easy to get fresh content that is targeted to the exact niches you need fast.
The only drawback to PLR is that there is an awful lot of bad PLR out there. The majority of what you can find is poorly written junk that has been thrown together in such a rush that it barely makes sense.
Or it has been sold and resold to thousands of people for many years.
Although the vendors of this kind of junk argue that quality is unimportant and that quantity is what counts, the reverse is actually true. The search engines are getting better all the time at working out what is good, authoritative writing and what is semi-literate filler - and you can be sure that your real life visitors can spot the rubbish a mile away.
Would you go back to a website that only offered page after page of nonsense, and would you happily click on links to reward such sites?
Luckily there are some vendors of private label materials out there who aim to produce the very highest quality - both in terms of being well researched and interesting to read, and in terms of being written in good English. Those vendors are sometimes a little more expensive than average, not always, but they are certainly worth the extra money.

These Will Give You An Unfair Advantage:
Lesson 1: Keyword Research - Effective online marketing is all about getting maximum returns from all of your efforts and keyword research is the way you do that - it focuses you on what counts instead of randomly writing and building websites that are not cohesive or targeted.
Lesson 2: Niche Marketing - One of the big success secrets is to concentrate your efforts on a monetizable niche market. So what is niche marketing and how do you find a niche that you can make money from?
Lesson 3: Information Products - Creating and selling your own information products is a very viable method of building an online business - and can be an extremely profitable one too. Before we look into the ways that you - or anyone - can start to create your own information products, we first need to define what information products actually are.
Lesson 4: Search Engine Optimization - What makes Google, or any other search engine for that matter, put some sites right up at the top of the first page of their search results listings, while other sites struggle to even get into the index?
Lesson 5: Affiliate Marketing - Affiliate marketing is an alluringly simple idea: you show an offer from
a third party company to your website visitors or newsletter readers
and if they click through and buy, you get an agreed commission. Those
commissions can be anywhere from ...
Lesson 6: Private Label Rights -Private label can really be like magic: someone else does all the hard work in writing and then for a tiny outlay you can buy the rights to do almost anything you want with the product.
Lesson 7: Membership Sites - Membership sites are big business and despite the worldwide recession, continue to grow in importance.
Lesson 8: Traffic Generation - A website on its own is like a store at the wrong end of a one-way street: it can be the most wonderful thing that you can possibly create, but with no passing trade the sound of the tumbleweed will be louder than that of the cash register.
Lesson 9: Article Marketing - Article marketing is about leveraging the effort you've put into creating an article in the first place and getting as much benefit from it as possible. You do that by syndicating your article for other people to use, with the condition that every time they publish it on their website, they also include a resource box that you specify.
Lesson 10: Email Marketing - Legitimate email marketing can be very profitable, but the most successful, and ethical email marketers go to great lengths to ensure that they are only sending emails to willing recipients and that their emails comply with local regulations such as the American Can-Spam act.
As an Internet marketer, content for your web pages, blog posts, newsletters, ezines and autoresponder sequences is what drives your profits. Material to be given away as subscription incentives boosts your mailing list subscription rates and source material to be turned into videos can explode your backlinks count.
Whatever you do to make money online, it is certain that you will need to find the right keywords for your articles, blog posts and web pages. Ignore it at your peril.
to get started is a tough one to contemplate. The service I use is
called SBI! It has been referred to as the MBA of the internet. Many
universities offer it as a course. They include all the training, tools
mentioned in these lessons, web hosting, domain name and everything you
need to succeed. The cost? Less than a dollar a day. Never anything else to buy. Ever.
Does it work? This is my site. It is built around the keyword phrase 'home online incomes'.
Doing a Google search today, it comes up as #2 against 417,000,000 competitors (the number on the top left). This thing works. It does require effort, however. This is not a get rich quick thing.
dollar a day + your desire to succeed + some effort = knowledgeable
access to the greatest, richest market that has ever existed and it is
yours for the plucking for free.
The quality of your future has never been so in your hands as right now. Decide to take action. Get started today.
Best wishes always,
