Best Organic SEO Practices: The Navbar.

Visitors to your site are looking for answers usually, whether it is a bread recipe for dinner tonight, a natural cure for hives, the cure to a broken heart or how to teach Rover to roll over.

In order for them to have a pleasant learning experience, you want them to clue in as soon as they arrive that they have found the Bonanza of information regarding their query. I hope you can see the magic and reason for Organic SEO.

A snappy title and nice look to your pages adds a lot to the initial impression. What really knocks them over is when the second impression they have is of a neat, orderly navbar (navigation bar) on each page that is loaded with information they came there for.

Make sure the navbar colors blend in harmoniously with the rest of the page. Don't be afraid of putting too many buttons in. This is not merely a case of the more the merrier, it is a matter of putting a virtual feast of information before their eyes.

They came there hungry. Make their mouths water!

Another great reason to have a navbar is that search engine spiders like a navbar almost as much as they like a site map. If you are doing a pay per click campagne, search engines will raise your prices if your landing page is poorly made and hard to navigate. A strategically placed navbar puts a smile on a search engine spider's face.

Depending on how much coding you know or how much you are willing to spend to get an "expert" to do it, there are many shapes and styles of site navigation buttons and they all contribute in varying amounts to the organic seo of your site.

Some are big blocks that light up when you put your cursor over it. Others are little buttons while others are tiny little print that act as a link when you click on them.

Being tasteful in your choice is all that matters. They will enhance your visitors' experience, make the search engines rank your pages much higher and help your guests to see more of your site and therefor more solutions for whatever they sought. Guess what? A visitor easily finding solutions is much more likely to buy one of them!

Another reason that navbars are an asset to any site is that you can offer more services to your visitors. It takes 7 visits for the average internet visitor to a site before he or she buys.

Unless your site is spectacular, they likely won't come back a second time.

One of the best seo strategies is to stay in contact and build a rapport and trust with them. This can be done through an ezine or newsletter. A clearly marked item on your navbar saying something like "Free eBook" or simply "Newsletter" will make it very easy for them to leave their email address behind thus building your list of prospects.
